Key Qualifications (One Or More Of The Following) 1. understanding of signal processing principles and concepts: sampling theory, audio processing in time and frequency domain. 2. digital filter design: iir filter, fir filters. 3. digital effect design: non-linear processing, reverberation, feedback delay networks, pitch shift, vocoders… 4. music signal analysis: note, chord, onset and noise detection 5. human voice processing: adaptive filters, echo cancellation, noise suppression… Necessary Skillset 1. strong knowledge in digital audio, real-time processing and sampling theory. 2. skilled in programming language such as c, c++. 3. skilled in any scripting language such as matlab, octave, python or shell. 4. experience with embedded system programming. 5. experience with any real-time audio framework such as juce/portaudio/rtaudio/vst3sdk… 6. good verbal and written communication skills, fluent in chinese or english. 7. being able to work in an agile team and with tight deadlines. The Right Candidate Needs To Be Able To 1. undertake the ownership of algorithm development, including design, implementation, optimization, testing and verification. 2. evaluate subjectively and objectively the quality of algorithms/implementations. 3. work closely with product managers and cross-divisional peers. 4. take initiatives for individual research when necessary by being able to study papers and adopt advanced techniques.
