- Backend Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)
能力要求
[What you'll be doing]
- Design and develop tools to improve infrastructure efficiency,
including data tracking and automation.
- Help design architectures that offer rapid scalability,
reliability, and high availability and contribute to
software maintenance and operational excellence.
- Assist developers with cloud-native design adoptions.
- Contribute to incident responses, no-blame postmortem analysis
and review.
[What you'll need]
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related experiences
- Ability to work with container technologies like Docker
- Familiar with one of Python, Golang, and shell scripts
- Experience with public clouds like AWS or GCP
- Experience of developing and running applications on a cloud
- Working proficiency in English
[Nice to have]
- Experience with Kubernetes
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins
- Experience with Packer and Terraform
- Experience with configuration management such as Ansible and SaltStack

雖然是代Po，身為工程師的我偷偷分享下內部工程師的心得:
優點:
1. 彈性上下班，可以 remote 專心在家打扣
2. 公司內的強者有很多不同技能，有工程師兼信用卡推銷專員、
吉他大神、embedded system 大師，還有常跑 python、golang 社群的大大
3. 公司架構很扁平也很透明，大家在 slack 的某個 channel 會貼不錯的文章，
一起學習和增長技術相關的知識
4. 重視 unit test 和 CI/CD 的環節，所以整體的開發 Quality 算是很不錯
5. 有很多 native speaker 可以練習英文
6. 公司很多人有運動習慣，有籃球社、桌球社還有熱愛健身的人
7. 每週有 UmboTed，內容五花八門，主題從技術，UX，到旅遊都有人分享，
然後最近越來越瘋狂，開始連威士忌都出現了

缺點:
1. 公司在產品線擴張狀態下，還是有不少的技術債的存在，
雖然有在控制，但是當出狀況時，還是會讓大家有點不開心.
2. 身為小新創，公司的工程師都需要負責 oncall 的事情，
雖然三個月才會輪到一次，但是還是會有點壓力.
3. 要講英文，要不然有些人會聽不懂
4. 開放式辦公室，真的要專心時會覺得很吵，常常會有人在辦公室開趴
5. 因為是新創，所以就跟衝浪一樣，每天都在浪頭上
6. 運動神經要不錯，因為每半年的 offsite meeting 會有很激烈的團體運動
