標題Re: [分析] x^(-1/2)在[0,1]是可積的嗎?

瑕積分：

∫x^(-1/2) dx = lim ∫x^(-1/2) dx
0 b->0 b
|x=1
= lim 2x^(1/2)|
b->0 |x=b
= lim 2-b^(1/2)
b->0
= 2
勒貝格積分：
We may construct a sequence of increasing measurable functions
that converges to x^(-1/2).
And then apply Lebesgue Monotone Convergence Theorm to get the answer.
Consider f_n(x) = x^(-1/2)χ_(1/n,1)(x), where χ is chareacteristic function.
Then f_n converge to f a.e. and 0≦f_1≦f_2...≦f a.e.
Apply LMCT,
1 1 LMCT 1
∫ x^(-1/2) dx =∫ f(x) dx ＝ lim ∫ f_n(x)
0 0 n->∞ 0
1
= lim ∫x^(-1/2)χ_(1/n,1)(x) dx
n->∞ 0
1
= lim ∫ x^(-1/2) dx
n->∞ 1/n
|x=1
= lim 2x^(1/2)|
n->∞ |x=1/n
= lim 2-(1/n)^(1/2)
n->∞
= 2
