請問大家一個簡單的文法問題

What the player can do to participate in the game is ...(空格)....
我覺得to buy會是最佳解答
但為什麼答案是(A)？？
詳答說to可以省略，真的嗎？
還有
為什麼(D)不行？？
為什麼動名詞不行？
請知道的人講解一下

3F：→ RhinoXiNiu: 2你這裡的「to participate in the game」是名稱為「 09/08 22:07
4F：→ RhinoXiNiu: 獨立不定詞」的副詞片語，討論句子結構的時候可以不 09/08 22:07
5F：→ RhinoXiNiu: 看（因為是副詞）。 09/08 22:07
6F：→ RhinoXiNiu: 3「what+人+動詞A」+be動詞時，後面一定是加to 再加 09/08 22:07
7F：→ RhinoXiNiu: 原形動詞B，只不過英式用法保留to，美式通常省略to。 09/08 22:07
8F：→ RhinoXiNiu: 不管省不省略，to的效力都還在，所以動詞B一定是原形 09/08 22:07
