標題[文法] 兩題問題

1.These artifacts _____buried in the king's tomb when it was opened.
A.have found B.were being found
C.are being found D.had been found
我選B 答案為D，先發生用過完後發生過去簡單，
但是卡在tomb ...was opened不是應該先發生，才能發現artifacts?
2.When at home,Fred_____call Sheila.
A.daring B.dared
C.doesn't dare D.dare not to
答案C，dare當一般動詞 C後面不是應該要加 to Vr??
總覺得這題四個選項都不對
