Dr. Ron Wolfson, the Fingerhut Professor of Education at American Jewish University, notes that "guest teenagers are envious of this kind of time with family." Michael Resnick, activist professor of pediatrics and public health at the University of Minnesota, describes adolescents as "resources to be developed, not problems to be solved." To a child who is resistant to talking with his teacher, you can say: "Students who go to see the teacher do better because the teacher knows they care." Even if your child absolutely refuses to ask an adult for help, you've planted the possibility in his mind. ！ --
