標題[文法] 疑問詞為主詞的辨別法?

如何分別疑問詞為主詞或受詞
坊間專書跟網路搜尋我都找過了
雖知道大概的分別法 但是以下這幾句讓我百思不解
What do you think is the situation?
What do you consider is the tone of the speaker?
這兩句為原來的句子插入 do you think 來詢問對方意見
但是書上說 他的原句
What is the situation? 和 What is the tone of the speaker?
的疑問詞What在句中為主詞
但是不管用中文或用英文想
What is the situation? 的回答應該是 The situation is XXX.
而不是 XXX is the situation.吧 what怎會是主詞
What do you consider is the tone of the speaker?
回答也應該是The tone of the speaker is XXX.
what應該是受詞補語不是主詞
所以這兩句加入do you think/consider應該是
What do you think the situation is?
和 What do you consider the tone of the speaker is? 才對吧
煩請文法高手解釋!!
難道課本寫錯了@@"?
