彭蒙惠英語2010/8/11, 二十頁第四段:
As the web developer who helped create Twitter sees it,
the true "killer app" is yet to come,
and ...(後略)
彭蒙惠英語把黃色那句(第二句)翻成
"真正的'殺手級'軟體尚未出現"
我想問幾個問題:
1. "yet"不是通常放在疑問句或否定句嗎
(ex: I have
n't eaten my dinner
yet.)
怎麼原句沒有否定詞(ex: none, not, no, ...諸如此類的), 卻也用了yet呢?
2. 請教一下認識native speaker的板友,
若我把原句改成: "the true 'killer app' is
not yet to come"
native speaker聽起來會覺得跟
"the true 'killer app' is yet to come" 意思相同, 還是相反呢?
3. "the true 'killer app' is
not yet to come"
對native speaker說, 聽起來會怪怪的嗎? (是道地的英文嗎?)
