(句子英翻中)
彭蒙惠英语2010/8/11, 二十页第四段:
As the web developer who helped create Twitter sees it,
the true "killer app" is yet to come,
and ...(後略)
彭蒙惠英语把黄色那句(第二句)翻成
"真正的'杀手级'软体尚未出现"
我想问几个问题:
1. "yet"不是通常放在疑问句或否定句吗
(ex: I have
n't eaten my dinner
yet.)
怎麽原句没有否定词(ex: none, not, no, ...诸如此类的), 却也用了yet呢?
2. 请教一下认识native speaker的板友,
若我把原句改成: "the true 'killer app' is
not yet to come"
native speaker听起来会觉得跟
"the true 'killer app' is yet to come" 意思相同, 还是相反呢?
3. "the true 'killer app' is
not yet to come"
对native speaker说, 听起来会怪怪的吗? (是道地的英文吗?)
