標題[請益] 關於get的用法

最近在學幾個沒有進行式的動詞，
get是其中之一，
有兩題不大懂。
He is still ill but he is getting better (gets better) slowly.
The economic situation is already bad and it is getting worse (gets worse).
請問是原本的對，還是括號裡面的才對？
語感告訴是括號裡面的，可是找不出解釋耶
變得…(become)這個意思有進行式的含意嗎？
