标题[请益] 关於get的用法

最近在学几个没有进行式的动词，
get是其中之一，
有两题不大懂。
He is still ill but he is getting better (gets better) slowly.
The economic situation is already bad and it is getting worse (gets worse).
请问是原本的对，还是括号里面的才对？
语感告诉是括号里面的，可是找不出解释耶
变得…(become)这个意思有进行式的含意吗？
麻烦高手解惑，感谢！
