標題[討論] Haploinsufficiency的意思？

最近看paper看到這個字 Haploinsufficiency (單套缺失)
根據英文意思:
A single functional copy of a gene is insufficient to maintain
normal function, is a major cause of dominant disease.
來舉列討論一下，根據 Nature 467, 986–990 (2010) 文中提到
1. TAp63+/- mice and TAp63-/- mice developed spontaneous carcinomas.
2. A larger proportion of the TAp63-/- mice (24%) were tumour free
compared with TAp63+/- mice (15%).
These data suggest that TAp63 is a haploinsufficient tumour suppressor gene.
所以在 Haploinsufficiency 的情況，其實是比整套刪除來的嚴重？
這是他的定義嗎？
