标题[讨论] Haploinsufficiency的意思？

最近看paper看到这个字 Haploinsufficiency (单套缺失)
根据英文意思:
A single functional copy of a gene is insufficient to maintain
normal function, is a major cause of dominant disease.
来举列讨论一下，根据 Nature 467, 986–990 (2010) 文中提到
1. TAp63+/- mice and TAp63-/- mice developed spontaneous carcinomas.
2. A larger proportion of the TAp63-/- mice (24%) were tumour free
compared with TAp63+/- mice (15%).
These data suggest that TAp63 is a haploinsufficient tumour suppressor gene.
所以在 Haploinsufficiency 的情况，其实是比整套删除来的严重？
这是他的定义吗？
