光figure legend的訊息有點不夠...
不過我的想法是這樣...

作者應該是以HindIII切完後 再做Southern blot
根據"片段大小"判斷copy number
如果只有一個Insert 則HindIII fragment僅包含dTph9後半段加exonIII的一部份
大小應該就如paper描述的0.8kb
畫個exonIII的簡圖:
HindIII HindIII +之間為insert dTph9 |為HindIII切位
----
+-----|---+----------|------
dTph9
切完後會產生
|---+----------| 這段片段 0.8kb
如果insert不只一個 則會切出另一個的片段 大小可能會跟dTph9一樣 (你可想想為什麼)
至於會多大我不知道@@
而為何2.0kb會有一陀 應該只是其他的DNA fragments
