To China’s south, Afghanistan, despite the 13-year American war still being
fought there, is fast moving into its economic orbit, while a planned
China-Myanmar oil pipeline is seen as a game-changing reconfiguration of the
flow of Eurasian energy across what I’ve long called Pipelineistan.
对於在中国南方的阿富汗而言，尽管美国在阿富汗长达13年的战争仍未完全平息，
但阿富汗正在加速步上经济轨道，同时，目前中国与缅甸石油管道也正在计划当中，
又称之为“管道斯坦”（Pipelineistan），被视为是得以改变欧亚能源分配
规则的关键。
後半段有点用自己的话翻译，但不知道翻得对不对？
