[徵才] VEWD Software: Junior Software Tester 挪威商悦瞻软体股份有限公司台湾分公司 (VEWD Software) 统一编号: 24808980 公司地址: 新北市新庄区中原路556号15楼 职缺: Junior Software Tester Responsibilities: Technical–software testing: ‧ Assessing and keeping the high quality of our final product at the last stage, that’s the most important and primary responsibility ‧ Performing exploratory and manual tests (acceptance criteria, functional, regression, sanity, exploratory etc) with TV and set-top-box prototypes ‧ Performing 1st level analysis of bugs and issues spotted in a continuous integration environment as well as found internally (reproduce, compare to existing/known bugs/problems, analyze the circumstances/testing conditions, provide any needed additional information, reassign to the appropriate team, etc.) ‧ Performing an initial assessment of new device and its capabilities ‧ Handling and maintaining our TV and set-top-box device prototypes (unpacking, labeling, tracking, verifying installation/flashing instructions, maintaining wiki page, upgrading firmware) Technical–quality assurance: ‧ Creating new test plans and tests cases and modifying existing ones ‧ Proactively looking for and implement automation in the testing area ‧ Analyzing and understanding quality specifications released by TV certification bodies ‧ Preparing own test suites based on analyzed specifications (make sure all the key features are properly covered with corresponding test scenarios) Collaboration: ‧ Cooperation with internal team members, but also partners and customers in longer term ‧ Participation in workshops with partners or clients (if such an approach can move "things" forward) 职缺能力经历要求: ‧ Up to 1 year of testing experience ‧ Excellent communication skills ‧ English–good working knowledge, both written and spoken ‧ Analytical skills ‧ Proactivity–we want you to be engaged ‧ Being self-driven–we believe our engineers know the best ‧ Proficiency working with Linux or Android ‧ Basic knowledge of HTML and web standard, as you are in charge of shaping the quality of our products ‧ Basic, operational knowledge of how to create/handle JIRA tickets ‧ Patience for doing exploratory and manual tests, maintaining test reports, cooperation with internal and external engineers from different cultures Nice to have: ‧ Basic knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD would put you ahead of other applicants ‧ Basic knowledge of A/V codec, DRM, OTT streaming services ‧ Basic programming skills, ideally Python or Bash or JavaScript or Shell scripting ‧ Ability to dive in and understand the purpose of an automated test case (sometimes its code), its background and conditions ‧ Current situation-dependent: the ability to work from home if needed 员工是否需自备工具?
