标题[单字] conventional wisdom的涵义是正面还是负面?

如题,conventional wisdom在wiki查到的解释如下:
A term used to describe ideas or explanations that are
generally accepted as true by the public or by experts
in a field. The term implies that the ideas or explanations,
though widely held, are unexamined and, hence, may be
reavaluated upon further examination or as events unfold.
从第3句的The term implies到最後我不太懂他的意思?
然後我查conventional wisdom中文,解释成
"传统观念或世俗认知，而这是有负面意味的词"
所以想知道这个字所表达的是好的还是坏的?
