标题[文法] that名词子句与that形容词子句？

大家好~不好意思想请问一下
最近学到名词子句
它说名词子句可放在受词後当受词补语
如 He boasted of the fact (that he had visited more than 100 countries).
也可当同位语
如 The fact (that he was admitted to a government-run university this
year) proves he has worked hard.
想请问一下
如果名词子句是这两种情况的话
与that引导的形容词子句要如何区别呢？
两者好像都在解释说明前面的东西
所以有点搞不清楚他们区别在哪里
不知道他们有没有很明确的区分方法
还是一定要从整个文章来判断？
