标题[文法]联合报New York Times 文法问题

以下这句话的文法我不是很懂:
--> If crushed bodies were the enduring images of Haiti's earthquake,
the most memorable ones of Chile's would have been of looting.
请问: 为什麽要用been of looting. 而不是benn looting.?

1F：→ dunchee:... would have been (the ... images) of looting 03/30 21:55
2F：→ dunchee:of的这写法是用於和前头的写法对应，同时也算是标明重点/ 03/30 21:56
3F：→ dunchee:主旨是前头所说的"the images"，而不是looting这行为本身 03/30 21:56
