去年下半年开始想学习了解佛法真义 但觉得怎麽法师们讲解时 一堆专业术语 越听我越头昏脑胀 後来我决定找出英文版的佛经来对照看 瞬间感觉好懂许多 我今天自己试着翻译了2014年一行禅师新译的英文版心经 想请教大家 是否有哪些地方可以再翻译得更好 ^_ Avalokiteshvara 观世音菩萨 while practicing deeply with the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore, 在实践让我们解脱的智慧之後 suddenly discovered that 突然发现到 all of the five Skandhas are equally empty, 五蕴都是空的 and with this realisation 有了这样的认知後 he overcame all Ill-being. 观世音菩萨克服了所有的厄难 “Listen Sariputra, 听好了 舍利弗 this Body itself is Emptiness 色蕴本身就是空性 and Emptiness itself is this Body. 空性本身就是色蕴 This Body is not other than Emptiness 色蕴就是空性 and Emptiness is not other than this Body. 空性就是色蕴 The same is true of Feelings,Perceptions, Mental Formations, and Consciousness. 相同的道理可以应用到受蕴 想蕴 行蕴 与 识蕴 “Listen Sariputra, 听好了 舍利弗 all phenomena bear the mark of Emptiness 所有的现象本质都是空相 their true nature is the nature of 所有现象的本质都 no Birth no Death, 没有生 也没有死 no Being no Non-being, 没有存在 也没有不存在 no Defilement no Purity, 没有污垢 也没有纯净 no Increasing no Decreasing. 没有增加 也没有减少 “That is why in Emptiness, 这就是为什麽在空性里 Body, Feelings, Perceptions, 色蕴 受蕴 想蕴 Mental Formations and Consciousness 行蕴 识蕴 are not separate self entities. 无法与自性分离 The Eighteen Realms of Phenomena 十八界 which are the six Sense Organs, 也就是六根界 the six Sense Objects, 六尘界 and the six Consciousnesses 与六识界 are also not separate self entities. 也无法与自性分离 The Twelve Links of Interdependent Arising 十二因缘的产生 and their Extinction 与破灭 are also not separate self entities. 也无法与自性分离 Ill-being, the Causes of Ill-being, 苦 苦的原因 the End of Ill-being, the Path, 苦的结束 八圣道 insight and attainment, 智慧与知识 are also not separate self entities. 也无法与自性分离 Whoever can see this 能了解这件事的众生们 no longer needs anything to attain. 再也不需要得到任何事物 Bodhisattvas who practice the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore 菩萨们实践了让我们可以解脱的智慧之後 see no more obstacles in their mind, 心中不再有困难 and because there are no more obstacles in their mind, 也因为心中不再有困难 they can overcome all fear, 菩萨们可以克服所有恐惧 destroy all wrong perceptions 摧毁所有错误的想法 and realize Perfect Nirvana. 并且达到涅盘的境界 “All Buddhas in the past, present and future 过去佛们 现在佛们 与 未来佛们 by practicing the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore 都因为实践了让我们解脱的智慧 are all capable of attaining 而能够获得 Authentic and Perfect Enlightenment. (超脱生死轮回的)真智慧 完美的智慧 “Therefore Sariputra, 所以呀 舍利弗 it should be known that 大家应该要知道 the Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore 让我们解脱的智慧 is a Great Mantra, 是伟大的咒语 the most illuminating mantra, 是最具有启发性的咒语 the highest mantra, 是最崇高的咒语 a mantra beyond compare, 是无可比拟的咒语 the True Wisdom that has the power to put an end to all kinds of suffering. 是能够终结所有痛苦的真智慧 Therefore let us proclaim a mantra to praisethe Insight that Brings Us to the Other Shore. 所以 让我们念咒来赞扬这个让我们解脱的智慧 Gate, Gate, Paragate, Parasamgate, Bodhi Svaha! 去吧去吧 一起去吧 一起到彼岸吧 觉悟啦 好极啦! Gate, Gate, Paragate, Parasamgate, Bodhi Svaha! 去吧去吧 一起去吧 一起到彼岸吧 觉悟啦 好极啦! Gate, Gate, Paragate, Parasamgate, Bodhi Svaha!” 去吧去吧 一起去吧 一起到彼岸吧 觉悟啦 好极啦! ^ --
