标题[求救] 请教胺基酸native与non-native的差异

小弟本身是机械背景最近再研究DNA在流场中的拉伸情况，先前在"Stretching of Proteins in a Uniform Flow"这篇论文中看到对 胺基酸分类为native与nonative两类，想请教两者在结构上的差异，谢谢!
论文部分内容:
"The effective interactions between the C amino acids
are split into two classes: native and non-native.
The distinction is done by checking for native overlaps of all atoms in amino acids"
