Fine. Our procedure for application to our PhD program is explained in the Department website. The first step is to apply. If you are accepted and matriculate, you must have formal interviews with at least 5 professors. This process is for your protection. No professor can 'claim' a student and no student is obligated to work with any professor.I am ccing Prof. XXX who is the chair of our graduate admissions committee. I have a complete CV if you wish to read more about me. : I am looking forward to your reply. : 等了一週沒有回應，原本以為無望了， : 沒想到一週後教授回信了， : I'm so pleased to hear of your interest in my research and the *** program : at UCSB. Unfortunately, I am unable to respond personally to each prospective : applicant, but here is some information about my work and the application : process. I do plan to accept students this coming year, and I encourage you : to apply. You should know that I am affiliated with the *** emphasis, : and it would be unusual for me to admit students who apply to the ### or : @@@ emphases.
