After announced I am going to marry myself, my 30 years old, I received many different responses. It makes me to re-think about the meaning and concept for marrying myself. Although at the very beginning, it is just a name of my birthday party and farewell party, the concept of the wedding is now more than the initial idea. 為什麼結婚? 為什麼結婚?有人交往3個月或半年就結婚，有人交往三年、五年或更久才結婚。與生命 中所遇見的誰相比，自己和自己的相處時間是最長的，也會一直相處下去，為什麼不能和 自己結婚? 這些年，大家總是常常提起 “要多愛自己一些”、 “要先學會愛自己，才能 愛別人”。 我以為這場婚禮對我而言，是一場重要的儀式，宣誓我將永遠愛我自己的方 式。這不是必須的，但這是我想要的，僅管對很多人而言，這樣很怪。 Why marry? To me, this wedding is as a ceremony, a way to swear I will love myself forever.
