個人覺得 那些偉大詩人應該會記住很多文學作品的片段吧 片中Plath和Hughes撐篙時 Plath有感而發朗誦的Wife of Bath(Cantebury Tale) 應該也表示出唸文學的學生記詩的能力 老實說我不覺得驚訝 我幼稚園時學校要求背過三字經 小學(三年級開始)背頌唐詩 國中背木蘭詩及部分宋詞元曲 高中也有背詩及論語吧 而我相信大部分的同學都有此一經驗 而聽說中文系的學生也要背頌極多的中國文學作品 甚至被要求寫作崑曲劇本 老師還會抱怨學生在寫背景時將時令花朵擺錯(如菊花是秋天產物) 我們系上老師也鼓勵我們背英詩(還要求過 亦要求創作) 平時文學考試考id即是鼓勵學生記誦文學作品及留意作家寫作技巧 真的背詩之後詩的韻律就會稍內化於心 因此我想這或許是唸文學學生的訓練吧 或者 詩的意涵已成為我們文化中的一部份 如看到夕陽時 一般人直覺馬上聯想到"夕陽無限好, 只是近黃昏"這句 ※ 引述《dale (冰城城主)》之銘言： : It is not a stupid question. :) : The lines of poetry recited weren't Plath.
