个人觉得 那些伟大诗人应该会记住很多文学作品的片段吧 片中Plath和Hughes撑篙时 Plath有感而发朗诵的Wife of Bath(Cantebury Tale) 应该也表示出念文学的学生记诗的能力 老实说我不觉得惊讶 我幼稚园时学校要求背过三字经 小学(三年级开始)背颂唐诗 国中背木兰诗及部分宋词元曲 高中也有背诗及论语吧 而我相信大部分的同学都有此一经验 而听说中文系的学生也要背颂极多的中国文学作品 甚至被要求写作崑曲剧本 老师还会抱怨学生在写背景时将时令花朵摆错(如菊花是秋天产物) 我们系上老师也鼓励我们背英诗(还要求过 亦要求创作) 平时文学考试考id即是鼓励学生记诵文学作品及留意作家写作技巧 真的背诗之後诗的韵律就会稍内化於心 因此我想这或许是念文学学生的训练吧 或者 诗的意涵已成为我们文化中的一部份 如看到夕阳时 一般人直觉马上联想到"夕阳无限好, 只是近黄昏"这句 ※ 引述《dale (冰城城主)》之铭言： : It is not a stupid question. :) : The lines of poetry recited weren't Plath.
