使用側掛的理由在於你移動你的重量從機車頂端到更低更內側的位置去。這個動作可以讓
你的機車被離心力推向彎道外側時用重量改變你的車子。當你的重量(重心)位置高於
車子時,這能給予轉彎力(輪胎向彎道內側之力)一個更長的槓桿去使力。
為了克服離心力,機車必須在彎道盡力去傾倒。當離心力越大時,你就必須用更多的傾
倒去征服他。使用側掛,你移動你的重量到機車內側以及離地面越低,你就能使用越少的
傾倒去對抗離心力。
這不是削弱離心力,這只是減少他的效能。現在同個彎道半徑車子不用過度傾倒,而且還
能使用更快的速度通過即使你跟一個不用側掛的騎士用同樣的速度過這個灣,你也能比他
更早加速,因為你的輪胎跟路面有更多的接觸。
這個動作將會帶來很大的好處。
記住,在彎道增加速度最有效的方法就是減少迴轉半徑。
