Ford was rumoured to be talking to Sordo, but Ford of Europe Motorsport chief Gerard Quinn denied negotiations were ongoing with the former Junior World Rally Champion. “We’re very happy with the drivers we have signed for next season,” said Quinn. Ford 撇清跟 Sordo 有過談話因為 Gerard Quinn 認為現在這兩個已經很棒了不需要 “We’re not talking to any other drivers.” Quesnel added: “We want Dani to stay, we are working on it.” (場面話) Sordo’s priority is the next round of the WRC, the Catalunya Rally, where he will be hoping to improve on the second place he has taken in recent years. “ Catalunya will be a big rally again for me,” he said. “Of course, I always want to win, especially at home. It can be an interesting race, let’s see what happens.
