錯的有點離譜。William James怎麼可說是"forerunner" of functionalists？
功能論是在Turing Machine（計算理論）出來之後才有的吧？-.-
James:1842-1910, Alan Turing:1912-1954, 兩者恰好從未在同一個時間點存
在過。
至於"combine both mind and body into empirical psychology"....
在James之前的心理物理學難道不也算是一種"combination"嗎？-.-
而成功....心理物理學即使到現在還是重要的心理學研究法之一吧？-.-
