They sure made the other two picks count, though. At No. 14, the Jazz took a guy they've been hoping would fall to them, power forward Kris Humphries. According to the draft gurus at Madison Square Garden, Humphries is a "me-first" player who will never get along in Utah. That's baloney. Humphries was a me-first guy at Minnesota, mostly because the rest of the team was terrible. Fact is, he was the strongest guy in the draft, and he's the same age as the eight high school kids who wound up in the draft. He is already a polished scorer. He still has tremendous potential, but he also led the Big Ten in scoring and rebounding as a freshman. He has proved himself on the collegiate level, where the other kids his age have not. Humphries is a bit cocky, but so is Dwight Howard. So is most any player in the league. If being cocky is such a negative, we'll have to throw out three quarters of the league.He was a steal at No. 14. To top off the Humphries pick, Utah was stunned to find Kirk Snyder on the board at No. 16, especially after it seemed Snyder had earned a lottery spot in recent weeks. They now have a tough, strong shooting guard who is oozing with confidence and can make the big shots. This is a perfect fit. 我挑一些這篇文章的重點來講吧! 有人說Kris是一個自私的球員，而自私的球員不會適合Utah。 那是荒謬的！ 如果Kris大學時期在Minnesota打球被認為是自私的話， 那多半是因為他的隊友實在是太爛了。 而事實是，他是這次選秀裡面最壯碩的球員。 (大家都還印象深刻他和Okafor一樣舉重測試都舉了最高的22下吧！) 而且更重要的是，他和今年那些參加選秀的高中生同年齡呢！ (1985年2月6日生，大一棄學。好年輕......) 但不同的是，他已經是一個成熟的得分好手了。(a polished scorer) 他擁有很棒的天賦，並且在打第一年NCAA就拿下Big 10聯盟的得分籃板王 因此他已經在大學的比賽證明了他自己，而和他同年齡的那些高中生卻沒有。 文章裡面還有說到Kris有點"cocky" (驕傲自大) 不過又說了，現在那個NBA球員不Cocky? 如果Cocky是很負面的話，要砍掉Cocky的人，那不是2/3的人都會被砍了！ 而Snyder的評語很短，只有幾句， 不過can make the big shot是大家都有提到的 難怪國外的爵士迷都已經在期待他在今年年底前可以坐上先發位置了呢！ 還有，最後那句This is a perfect fit聽起來蠻爽的。 I hope so. -- I know I can Be what I wanna be If I work hard at it I'll be where I wanna be -- Nas "I can" --
