之前我隨便在Travis網站上看了一點Fran在上面寫的Blog
很巧的翻到了跟Slideshow這首歌有點關係的一篇文章

Was funny tonight. We sung the song Slideshow from The Man Who and I realised
that there is a line in the song that goes "There is no design for life..."
and I was thinking "shit, the Manics are on after us!" and that maybe they
thought I was saying bad shit about that song...actually the opposite is
true... because Slideshow is about the power of songs, and how they trigger
memories like a slideshow, saying that it's not so much the song but rather
where it takes you that is important...anyways I have always wondered if they
thought I was being cheeky. I love 'Design For Life"
剛好那天演唱會晚上回家的時候 我跟我媽在車上聽著The Man Who
我們一直在爭論那句歌詞是"design"還是"desire"
我媽一直說他聽到的事desire 可是我看過歌詞阿 所以就一直跟他爭:P
anyway, 後來翻到了這篇文章 Fran剛好提到了這首歌的含意
我看起來他的意思是說 一首歌重要的是它帶你進入什麼樣的回憶 勝過於歌本身
然後回憶就像Slideshow一樣一幕幕播放...
(有誤的話請指正XD)
Fran這段大概是在解釋他對"design for life"的意思?
其實我不知道是什麼意思XD 看看有沒有人可以翻翻看
大家可以來討論討論
這樣或許可以更了解這首歌 :)
