之前我随便在Travis网站上看了一点Fran在上面写的Blog
很巧的翻到了跟Slideshow这首歌有点关系的一篇文章

that there is a line in the song that goes "There is no design for life..."
and I was thinking "shit, the Manics are on after us!" and that maybe they
thought I was saying bad shit about that song...actually the opposite is
true... because Slideshow is about the power of songs, and how they trigger
memories like a slideshow, saying that it's not so much the song but rather
where it takes you that is important...anyways I have always wondered if they
thought I was being cheeky. I love 'Design For Life"
刚好那天演唱会晚上回家的时候 我跟我妈在车上听着The Man Who
我们一直在争论那句歌词是"design"还是"desire"
我妈一直说他听到的事desire 可是我看过歌词阿 所以就一直跟他争:P
anyway, 後来翻到了这篇文章 Fran刚好提到了这首歌的含意
我看起来他的意思是说 一首歌重要的是它带你进入什麽样的回忆 胜过於歌本身
然後回忆就像Slideshow一样一幕幕播放...
(有误的话请指正XD)
Fran这段大概是在解释他对"design for life"的意思?
其实我不知道是什麽意思XD 看看有没有人可以翻翻看
大家可以来讨论讨论
这样或许可以更了解这首歌 :)
