請問關於英國隔離女子聲明中的SORRY,應該翻譯抱歉還是遺憾？
英國在台辦事處為目前正在台灣居家檢疫的Nathalie Dawson代為發表聲明。

我對這件事件的關心並不著重在她道歉與否,而是當我好奇地看完全文,
所引發的個人關於SORRY的用法疑惑？
我對於最後一句SORRY的TVBS翻譯有點存疑,
當英語系的國家用到sorry一詞時,究竟是應該翻成遺憾還是抱歉？
想請教大家以下這句,怎樣翻譯比較貼近原文？
“I am sorry that this has happened. ”
應該翻譯為
1.我對這些發生的事情感到遺憾
2.我對這些發生的事情感到抱歉
3.再次對他們感到抱歉（TVBS官翻）
4.還是有其它翻法？
請指教。

I know there has been a huge amount of press attention after an article about
my quarantine in Taiwan.
I feel that much of this is inaccurate so I wanted to give my perspective on
an issue that feels like it’s been blown out of proportion.
我知道一篇有關我在台灣居家檢疫的新聞報導已經引起了媒體的廣泛關注。
我覺得其中的大部分內容都不正確，所以我希望能對這個已經大肆喧染的議題發表我的想
法。
I fully respect Taiwan’s approach to quarantine and I have never questioned
the importance of it.
When I first arrived at the quarantine centre there were some issues but
these were all resolved working with the centre management and
British Office and I am very grateful for that. I know my mum has been very
worried, with me so far away,
in unfamiliar surroundings and at a time of a global health pandemic,
我完全尊重台灣的檢疫措施，而且從未質疑過居家檢疫的重要性。當我第一時間抵達檢疫
所時遇到了一些問題，
但是在與管理人員和英國在台辦事處人員聯繫後，這些問題都解決了，對此我非常地感謝
。
我知道我母親一直十分擔心，因為我離家很遠，又在全球疫情大流行的時候處於陌生的環
境中。
but I never asked or wanted her to speak to the press.
I really regret that happened and I am pleased the article has now been
removed.
但是我從來沒有要她也不希望她跟媒體聯絡。我真的很遺憾發生了這件事，也很樂見那篇
文章已經被移除了。
Taiwan is somewhere I’ve been excited about visiting for so long.
I am very grateful to the Taiwanese authorities for their support during my
quarantine and
I am sorry that this has happened.
台灣是我長久以來一直期望拜訪的地方。我非常感謝台灣相關政府單位在這段檢疫期間給
予的支持，
也再次對他們感到抱歉。

我也是覺得遺憾比較像,不過TVBS翻成對台灣政府道歉,我反而覺得是故意翻成
對方很有誠意了~ XD
