小弟查了一下Oxford學習字典
對第17題理解如下
(A)show的用法似乎多用於展示資訊

(B)represent則是用於比較正式代表(to act or speak officially for someone and
defend their interests)

(C)portray在連結中的第2個用法
(Describe)比較近似本題情況

爭議點在於represent連結中的第7種用法也是
(Describe)
只是 portray can use
"especially
when this does not give a complete or accurate impression of what
they are like"
而 represent can use
"especially
when this may not be fair"
