小弟查了一下Oxford学习字典
对第17题理解如下
(A)show的用法似乎多用於展示资讯

(B)represent则是用於比较正式代表(to act or speak officially for someone and
defend their interests)

(C)portray在连结中的第2个用法
(Describe)比较近似本题情况

争议点在於represent连结中的第7种用法也是
(Describe)
只是 portray can use
"especially
when this does not give a complete or accurate impression of what
they are like"
而 represent can use
"especially
when this may not be fair"
