"I only know the international show circuit is incredibly demanding with fittings at 2am and lots of travelling. Maybe she decided to take a break from it this season?" 她的agent表示 可能是她覺得趕秀實在太累了 所以想休息一季 Model industry insiders remain sceptical about this, wondering why she wouldn't, like Miranda Kerr, choose one or two prestigious shows. 不過模特兒界對這種說法感到懷疑 質疑她為何不像Miranda Kerr一樣 走個一兩場也好 Interestingly on Saturday morning, Ward messaged Hush to say McNeil was back in Brisbane visiting her parents. 有趣的是在週六早上 她的agent又說 McNeil回家鄉探望父母了 Also not taking a public role of late is model/actress Gemma Ward, who is said to be still grieving over the loss of her close friend, Heath Ledger. 另外一個很久不見的模特兒/演員Gemma Ward 據說她仍然對好友Heath Ledger的死去感到 無法釋懷 Replacing McNeil as the most successful new Australian model overseas is 20-year-old Abbey Lee Kershaw. 目前取代McNeil地位的澳洲模特兒是現年20歲的Abbey Lee "Abbey is very much the flavour of the month," Ward said.
