Despite missing 15 regular season games, Thunder guard Russell Westbrook was still one of the top finishers in the NBA's Most Valuable Player voting for 2014-15.
縱使是缺席了15場的例行賽,Russ還是在季末的MVP票選中名列前茅.
Westbrook finished fourth behind a slew of the best players in the game. Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry beat Houston Rockets (and former Thunder) guard James Harden for the MVP, with Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James a distant third.
Russ在票選中總排名第四,僅次於排第二的火箭後衛(前雷霆人~!)Harden,第三的騎士前鋒LBJ,以及擊敗眾人奪得MVP的勇士後衛Stephen Curry.
Curry reveived an overwhelming 100 first-place votes to Harden's 25 and James' five. Westbrook did not receive any first-place votes,but picked up five second-place votes. You can see which members of the media voted for each player here.

The Thunder battled through an injury-plagued 45-37 season, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2009-10. With 2013-14 MVP Kevin Durant missing 55 games, Westbrook did much for the heavy lifting.
雷霆經過了這個傷病不斷賽季後,奮力的取得了45勝37負的成績,但可惜仍無緣季後賽,也是自09-10賽季以來的首次. 在去年的MVP KD缺席了55場比賽的情況下,Russ為這支本季打的掙扎的球隊付出的實在太多了
Westbrook had his best season as a pro, winning the NBA scoring title (28.1 points per game) and finishing with career high in points,rebounds (8.6),assists (7.3) and steal (2.1) per game. Only New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis finished with a better Player Effciency Rating (30.89) than Westbrook's 29.12.
這季可以堪稱是Russ目前為止的生涯年了,除了以生涯新高的場均28.1分奪下得分王外,8.6籃板、7.3助攻以及2.1抄截均是寫下生涯新高. 而Russ本季的PER值29.12,也僅次於鵜鶘隊的一眉哥Anthony Davis的30.89,說本季是他的生涯年真是一點也不為過啊!
