since後的獨立子句動詞使用過去簡單式
簡單的說since的中文翻譯為因為如何如何，所以如何如何
是在描述過去的事情，自然使用過去簡單式
而even though在語意上是不通順的

for用在時間上通常指一段時間
而這句arrive的介係詞通常使用in or within表一個時間內
若單純就字面上翻譯，用for會變成
"shipment"從進港到完全停下來耗時一個禮拜
故選(a)不選(b)
