標題[題目] 困惑我很久的一題

這是一題文法改錯
The company's mission statement was written by the president over

thirty years ago, but is still very pertaining to today's business world.

A.company's
B.was written
C.but
D.pertaining(正解)
為什麼是pertaining呢?
我查過字典，事物當主詞時，pertain是用主動用法，前面又有be動詞"is"，
那用pertaining應該是沒錯吧?
我在想這題到底是不是答案錯哩?
