Cyclist Floyd Landis was stripped of his 2006 Tour de France title
after he tested positive for synthetic testosterone. Donald Berry,
a statistician at the University of Texas, doesn't buy it. Berry
explains how drug testing could be more scientific.
Don Berry is the chairmain of department of Biostatistics
at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
He is famous for his work in Bayesian statistics.

keys of the discussion:
* It is too quick to assume that a positive test means a guilty athlet;
* The processes used to charge athletes with cheating are
often based on flawed statistics and flawed logic;
* The problem with multiples: false positive rate is magnified
by the number of tests.
