標題[問題] 一題計算事後機率的貝式估計

Let Y be the sum of the observations of a random sample from a Poisson
distribution with mean θ. Let the prior p.d.f. of θ be a gamma one with
parameters α and β.
(a) Find the posterior p.d.f. of θ, given Y = y.
(b), (c)題目不打，因為我應該會算。
我的做法如下：
Let Y = X_1 + X_2 + ... + X_n, where X_i ~ Poisson(θ).

h(θ) = ------------- θ^(α-1)﹒e^(-θ/β)
Γ(α)β^α
E(Y) = E(X_1 + X_2 + ... + X_n) = nθ
Var(Y) = Var(X_1 + X_2 + ... + X_n) = nθ
∴ Y ~ Poisson(nθ)
(nθ)^y﹒e^(-nθ)
=> g(y|θ) = --------------------
y!
k(θ|y) ￡ g(y|θ)h(θ) ( ￡符號表成正比 )
(nθ)^y﹒e^(-nθ) θ^(α-1)﹒e^(-θ/β)
= -------------------﹒-----------------------
y! Γ(α)β^α
k(θ|y) ￡ θ^(α+y-1)﹒e^[-θ(n + 1/β)]
Thus the posterior p.d.f. of θ is gamma with parameters α+y and
1/(n+1/β).
PS：請問我整題這樣寫對不對？
還有，從黃色推到綠色的部份對不對？
是不是找到隨機變數的mean和variance後，它的分配就確定了？
所以我找到Y的mean和variance都是一樣的，因此Y~Poisson(nθ)。
