: 來吧。如果這是一部電影，結尾應該是這樣；
: 鏡頭慢慢拉近，場景是在一所高中的體育館裡。Larry Brown 向 Allen Iverson
: 正值青少年的兒子 Deuce 和他自己的兒子 L. J. 解釋什麼叫做「right way」。
: 在觀眾席上， 已經退休已久並加入名人堂的 Iverson 坐在場邊觀戰，神色凝重
: ，對著自己喃喃自語：「該死的，為什麼他們不能照他說的打啊？」
: 然後畫面帶到一面面的獎牌、一座座的獎盃。
: 那都是他們贏來的。
這段的原文如下：
And now it has. If this were a movie, this is how it would end:
The camera would fade to a scene in a high school gym. Larry Brown would be
out there explaining "the right way" to Allen Iverson's teenage son Deuce,
and to Brown's son L.J.
In the stands, Iverson, long since removed from a Hall of Fame career, would
be sitting there, deadly serious, muttering to himself, "Damn, why can't they
just do it the way he says?"
And then the credits would roll.
And there would be a whole lot of them.
最後兩句似乎可以再斟酌一下。
因為作者假設是一部電影的結尾，所以我的想法是credits應該是電影最後的
幕前幕後工作人員名單。既然如此，這兩句就變成：
「接著片尾名單便會浮現。
而參與過布朗爺一生的，將不勝枚舉。」
之所以這樣翻，是因為通篇作者都在描述布朗爺不斷遷徙不斷遊方的個性。
這邊是個預測，預測他將造訪的人和隊伍還有很多。
