1. Install Q3 based game and run once, to generate the .cfg file.
安裝Q3 based 的遊戲且執行過一次讓遊戲建立.cfg檔。
2. Navigate to '\Base\' directory where the game was installed. (such as
c:\program files\quake 3\base\)
用我的電腦去找遊戲 '\base\'的目錄下。
(如：c:\program files\quake 3\base\)
(原po可能是c:\program files\rctw\base\)
3. Open the config.cfg file in the base directory with any text editor.
This file's name will vary depending on the game installed.
For Quake 3, it is q3config.cfg. For Jedi Knight 2, it is jk2config.cfg.
用記事本軟體打開\base\目錄下的 config.cfg 檔。檔名會依遊戲不同而有
不一樣的名字。
如 Quake3, 會叫 q3config.cfg (下略...)
4. Find the string 'seta r_customwidth' and set it to the native width of
your monitor. For instance, on a Dell 2005FPW this will be '1680'
找到 'seta r_customwidth' 字串 設定適合你螢幕寬度的數值。
如果你是用Dell 2005FPW這台營幕的話會是1680。
(簡單來說就是設你想到的解析度的寬度)
5. Find the string 'seta r_customheight' and set it to the native height
of your monitor. On a Dell 2005FPW, this is '1050'
找到 'seta r_customheight' 字串 設定適合你螢幕高度的數值。
如果你是用Dell 2005FPW這台營幕的話會是1050。
(簡單來說就是設你想到的解析度的高度)
6. Find the string 'seta r_mode' and set it to to '-1'.
找到 'seta r_customheight' 字串 把它設成 '-1'。
7. You are going to need to change the FOV now, or you will not be able to
use the extra pixels you just enabled. This is what allows the Q3 engine
to'natively' support widescreen resolutions.
Find the string 'seta cg_fov' and change the value to '115'.
(以上懂意思不會翻)
找到 'seta cg_fov' 字串 把它設成 '115'
Save the file, and start the game. Do not change the resolution in-game, or
you will have to manually edit the file again. Note that the intro videos may
not display properly with custom resolutions, so you will just have to hit a
button to bypass them.
存檔，執行遊戲。別在遊戲中更改解析度，要不然你又要再手動改檔。注意,在遊戲片頭
影片可能會因為自定解析度的關係而無法顯示，按跳過它就好。(通常是按空白或ESC)
