1. Install Q3 based game and run once, to generate the .cfg file.
安装Q3 based 的游戏且执行过一次让游戏建立.cfg档。
2. Navigate to '\Base\' directory where the game was installed. (such as
c:\program files\quake 3\base\)
用我的电脑去找游戏 '\base\'的目录下。
(如：c:\program files\quake 3\base\)
(原po可能是c:\program files\rctw\base\)
3. Open the config.cfg file in the base directory with any text editor.
This file's name will vary depending on the game installed.
For Quake 3, it is q3config.cfg. For Jedi Knight 2, it is jk2config.cfg.
用记事本软体打开\base\目录下的 config.cfg 档。档名会依游戏不同而有
不一样的名字。
如 Quake3, 会叫 q3config.cfg (下略...)
4. Find the string 'seta r_customwidth' and set it to the native width of
your monitor. For instance, on a Dell 2005FPW this will be '1680'
找到 'seta r_customwidth' 字串 设定适合你萤幕宽度的数值。
如果你是用Dell 2005FPW这台营幕的话会是1680。
(简单来说就是设你想到的解析度的宽度)
5. Find the string 'seta r_customheight' and set it to the native height
of your monitor. On a Dell 2005FPW, this is '1050'
找到 'seta r_customheight' 字串 设定适合你萤幕高度的数值。
如果你是用Dell 2005FPW这台营幕的话会是1050。
(简单来说就是设你想到的解析度的高度)
6. Find the string 'seta r_mode' and set it to to '-1'.
找到 'seta r_customheight' 字串 把它设成 '-1'。
7. You are going to need to change the FOV now, or you will not be able to
use the extra pixels you just enabled. This is what allows the Q3 engine
to'natively' support widescreen resolutions.
Find the string 'seta cg_fov' and change the value to '115'.
(以上懂意思不会翻)
找到 'seta cg_fov' 字串 把它设成 '115'
Save the file, and start the game. Do not change the resolution in-game, or
you will have to manually edit the file again. Note that the intro videos may
not display properly with custom resolutions, so you will just have to hit a
button to bypass them.
存档，执行游戏。别在游戏中更改解析度，要不然你又要再手动改档。注意,在游戏片头
影片可能会因为自定解析度的关系而无法显示，按跳过它就好。(通常是按空白或ESC)
