We usually stay calm when being alone. However, we may be joyous, upset, disappointed, or angry in the interactions. No matter the emotion is positive or negative; it helps us understand ourselves and enriches our lives. The third reason is that friends are sometimes consultants or teachers for us. When we are annoyed by difficulties, both physically or mentally, we may turn to our friends for aids, advices, suggestions or even instructions.
