Therefore, being with them is like being with walking dictionaries, and the dictionaries are not sold in the bookstores. Secondly, interacting with people can evoke our different emotions. We usually stay calm when being alone. However, we may be joyous, upset, disappointed, or angry in the interactions. No matter the emotion is positive or negative; it helps us understand ourselves and enriches our lives. The third reason is that friends are sometimes consultants or teachers for us. When we are annoyed by difficulties, both physically or mentally, we may turn to our friends for aids, advices, suggestions or even instructions. In addition to being a recipient, we can sometimes perform a giver to help our friends. In the mutually beneficial process, we gain abilities to deal with our and others’ problems.
