I do not have any strong, positive or negative answer for this actually. However, my first impression was the disappearance of expectation to Chinese New Year when I saw the question. I heard that people were very expected the coming of Chinese New Year. Many good foods cannot be supplied in usual days due to the poverty of farm. Everyone will expect the New Year because they can eat delicious foods like chicken or pork. Nowadays, I feel that the Chinese New Year atmosphere gradually decayed with the convenience getting of foods. Our life has become very different than before. The world mainly became an industrial and commercial community, so the food also became easier to prepare for convenience. Microwave oven can help us to eat the hot and delicious foods even in midnight. Instant noodles can be a best solution when you had no time to get a meal outside the room. However, I have to ask: do we need the kind of life? Although I do not have the standpoint to opposite getting the food easily because I still loved the McDonald’s or walked to 7-11 to buy a battle of red tea, I want to ask: who give us this desire? It is like a globalized conspiracy. I was looked like a double-faced person. I criticized the fast foods but got their advantages at same time. When we eliminated the poverty, we also eliminated some tradition unknowingly.
