Rookie Robert Whaley's tip-in with 0.8 seconds left in overtime lifted
the Utah Jazz over the Toronto Raptors 102-101 on Wednesday night in
the preseason opener for both teams.
星期三晚間，爵士和暴龍同時進行各自在季前賽的第一場，而菜鳥Robert Whaley
在延長賽只剩 0.8 秒時的一記點進使爵士隊以 102 比 101 超越暴龍隊。
Rookie C.J. Miles, who led the Jazz with 14 points, sent the game into
overtime with a 3-pointer with 2.4 seconds left.
另一個菜鳥 C.J. Miles 則是將爵士隊送進延長賽的功臣，他在正規賽最後 2.4
秒時投進一個三分球，而整場得到爵士隊中最多的 14 分。
Tierre Brown had 24 points and seven assists and rookie Charlie Villanueva
added 15 points for the Raptors.
在暴龍這邊，Tierre Brown 得到 24 分和 7 個助攻；菜鳥 Charlie Villanueva
則得到 15 分。
(按：Tierre Brown似乎來自湖人，印象中他是Atkins的替補，很刁鑽。)
Villanueva, the seventh overall pick in the draft, gave Toronto a 101-100
lead with 17 seconds left in overtime by grabbing an offensive rebound and
scoring. He also blocked Miles' short jumper with less than eight seconds
left, but Whaley tipped in the winner. Whaley finished with eight points
and eight rebounds.
今年第七順位的 Villanueva 在延長賽只剩 17 秒時抓下一個進攻籃板，並且投進，
讓暴龍暫時以 101 比 100 超前，而且他還在比賽最後 8 秒時煽下 Miles 的一記
短距離投籃，可是 Whaley 之後補進而獲勝。 Whaley 整場得到 8 分與 8 籃板。
Utah's Deron Williams, the third overall pick in the draft, had five
turnovers in just 16 minutes. Toronto's Joey Graham, the 16th pick in
the draft, didn't play in the second half because of left knee tendinitis.
爵士隊今年第三順位選進的 Deron Williams 在本場中共上場 16 分鐘，卻取得 5
次失誤。暴龍隊第十六順位選進的 Joey Graham 則在下半場之後缺席，原因是左膝
蓋的肌腱炎。
