Rookie Robert Whaley's tip-in with 0.8 seconds left in overtime lifted
the Utah Jazz over the Toronto Raptors 102-101 on Wednesday night in
the preseason opener for both teams.
星期三晚间，爵士和暴龙同时进行各自在季前赛的第一场，而菜鸟Robert Whaley
在延长赛只剩 0.8 秒时的一记点进使爵士队以 102 比 101 超越暴龙队。
Rookie C.J. Miles, who led the Jazz with 14 points, sent the game into
overtime with a 3-pointer with 2.4 seconds left.
另一个菜鸟 C.J. Miles 则是将爵士队送进延长赛的功臣，他在正规赛最後 2.4
秒时投进一个三分球，而整场得到爵士队中最多的 14 分。
Tierre Brown had 24 points and seven assists and rookie Charlie Villanueva
added 15 points for the Raptors.
在暴龙这边，Tierre Brown 得到 24 分和 7 个助攻；菜鸟 Charlie Villanueva
则得到 15 分。
(按：Tierre Brown似乎来自湖人，印象中他是Atkins的替补，很刁钻。)
Villanueva, the seventh overall pick in the draft, gave Toronto a 101-100
lead with 17 seconds left in overtime by grabbing an offensive rebound and
scoring. He also blocked Miles' short jumper with less than eight seconds
left, but Whaley tipped in the winner. Whaley finished with eight points
and eight rebounds.
今年第七顺位的 Villanueva 在延长赛只剩 17 秒时抓下一个进攻篮板，并且投进，
让暴龙暂时以 101 比 100 超前，而且他还在比赛最後 8 秒时煽下 Miles 的一记
短距离投篮，可是 Whaley 之後补进而获胜。 Whaley 整场得到 8 分与 8 篮板。
Utah's Deron Williams, the third overall pick in the draft, had five
turnovers in just 16 minutes. Toronto's Joey Graham, the 16th pick in
the draft, didn't play in the second half because of left knee tendinitis.
爵士队今年第三顺位选进的 Deron Williams 在本场中共上场 16 分钟，却取得 5
次失误。暴龙队第十六顺位选进的 Joey Graham 则在下半场之後缺席，原因是左膝
盖的肌腱炎。
