Nash makes Wheaties box
Nash成為穀片盒的成員
Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash, the National Basketball Association's
defending Most Valuable Player, now has his own Wheaties box.
鳳凰城太陽隊的控球後衛Steve Nash，NBA的MVP現在將有他的麥片盒子。
Unveiled Tuesday at US Airways Center, the new Wheaties box is the first to
feature a Suns player.
星期二在US Airways Center公開發表這個消息，這個新的麥片盒子第一次以太陽隊
的球員為主角。
Nash is averaging more than 19 points per game and leading the league with
more than 10 assists per game. A first-round draft choice by the Suns in
1996, he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Nash returned to Phoenix last
year as a free agent and led the team to a Pacific Division championship and
the Western Conference Finals before losing to the eventual NBA champions,
the San Antonio Spurs.
Nash的每場平均得分超過19分而且每場超過10次的助攻更是冠居全NBA聯盟。在1996年
第一輪選秀被太陽隊選中，然後被交換到達拉斯小牛隊。去年Nash以自由球員重回到鳳凰
城並帶領太陽隊贏得太平洋分區冠軍進入西區決賽，但輸給了NBA總冠軍聖安東尼奧馬刺。
This season the Suns have repeated as Pacific Division champions. The
playoffs begin this weekend.
這個球季太陽再度奪得太平洋分區冠軍。季後賽將在這個週末開始。
"Steve Nash provides a great source of inspiration for anyone who is reaching
for their dream," said Eric Treschuk, Wheaties marketing manager. "No one
works harder or plays the game more unselfishly, but his dedication and
perseverance truly set him apart. Wheaties is thrilled to welcome him into
the family."
Wheaties公司行銷經理說: Nash總是可以激勵他人完成夢想。沒有一個人可以像他一樣
對比賽那麼認真且無私，但他的奉獻和堅忍不拔使他與眾不同。Wheaties很興奮的歡迎他
的加入。
"Appearing on the Wheaties box is a great honor for me," Nash said. "The list
of basketball greats who have been on the box through the years is legendary,
with guys like Jordan, Bird, West and Cousy. I'm honored to be included among
that group."
Nash說:出現在Wheaties box 對我來說是個很大的榮譽，像Jordan, Bird, West和
Cousy過去出現在Wheaties box上的籃球選手都十分優秀，我很榮幸能夠與他們相提並論。
