I have to wonder whether Tracy would be leaving if we had a GM who did not use the newspapers to force Tracy into a corner. John Weisbrod giving Tracy an ultimatum(最後通牒) was the stupidest idea ever. He should've been kissing Tracy's feet while begging Tracy to stay. That's what any halfwit(笨蛋) idiot out there would have done, let alone the supposed GM of a basketball team about to lose its star player. I thought the Magic had learned their lesson when they lost Shaq eight years ago; I thought that maybe they would actually make the superstar feel wanted this time. Obviously this Magic organization is hardheaded(頑固的), to put it lightly. Only when Tracy leaves will the Magic realize that finding another scoring champion is a lot harder than they think. Maybe this is how superstars are treated in hockey, but someone at the Magic should've let Weisbrod know that this is the NBA, not the NHL. Did you learn nothing from the NBA finals this year? You chastise(鞭) John Weisbrod for his blunt dealings with McGrady. I applaud(向...喝采) Weisbrod. It is about time somebody dealt with T-Mac for what he is. He is a tremendous talent but he is also lazy, a quitter(容易放棄), a spoiled little brat(被寵壞的小孩) who quits playing when the going gets tough, he is not a team player, he is not a team leader. T-Mac let Weisbrod and fans know what kind of a man he was when he quit on us all. Way to go Weisbrod, get whatever you can for the talented but whining wimp and move on. I wrote you several years ago about T-Mac being lazy and a quitter and you wrote back and said I was wrong. Look what Detroit accomplished with a bunch of team players, several of them Magic castoffs(被丟棄的人) in John Gabriel's constant attempts to appease(滿足) T-Mac. The Pistons won with defense, which T-Mac doesn't like to be bothered with; they won with toughness, which T-Mac is not; they won by sharing the ball, which T-Mac does not do; they won by playing unselfish as a team, which T-Mac neither knows how to do nor is interested in learning how to do. T-Mac will go to another team and be just another spoiled, pampered(被縱容的) "superstar" who makes a lot of money but doesn't have what it takes to be a real winner. I said it some time back and I repeat it now. The Magic need to get what they can and move on. Thank you, Mr. Weisbrod and Mr. DeVos. It was incredibly exciting, but what a fall from grace. I knew Tracy was leaving and there is basically no team left. Rebuilding will take years and we don't have that much time. It's time for the Magic to move, maybe to Tampa. They are a world championship town and have millions of fans to draw upon, or maybe even Las Vegas.
